Project activities

Improvement of management processes

  1.  Development of AIMC strategies for years 2023-2027 and development of a plan of action for the years 2023 and 2024 under the guidance of a mentor.
  2.  Implementing the plan of action for the year 2023 under the guidance of a mentor.
  3. Learning the theory of the M&E system..
  4. Learning the process of creating an M&E plan under the guidance of a mentor.
  5. Implementation of a part of the M&E plan under the guidance of a mentor.
  6. Learning the basic theory of the quality system.
  7. Applying the essential principles of the quality system to the needs of AIMC and creating a plan under the guidance of a mentor.
  8. Implementation of a part of the quality system plan under the guidance of a mentor.

Strengthening of resources and financial capacity

    1. Under the guidance of a mentor develop an independent funding strategy for 2023-2027 and a plan of action for 2023 for attracting resources for AIMC.
    2. Improve the skills of the AIMC board and members for how to implement resource attraction measures.
    3. Under the guidance of a mentor, prepare informative materials, including visual identity materials, for website resource attraction events.
    4. Under the guidance of a mentor, implement resource attraction measures at several levels:
      • carry out publicity activities (wide target audience of potential supporters);
      • participate in and initiate networking activities (with a group of potential supporters);
      • implement targeted one-on-one meetings and communication with specific potential supporters;
      • create AIMC services (economic activity) with the aim of obtaining independent financial means.

In the improvement of management processes

In the period from 01.07.2022. to 28.02.2023 the following work has been carried out:

1) The association’s development strategy for 2023-2027 and the plan of action for 2023-2024 have been developed;

2) A monitoring and evaluation (M&E) plan for 2023 has been developed;

3) The association’s quality system plan has been developed.

In the period from 01.03.2023 until 30.09.2023. improvement of management processes was carried out according to plan:

1) Implemented development strategy 2023-2027. Action plan for 2023.
2) Implemented M&E plan for 2023.
3) Implemented quality system plan.

The following people participated in the development of the management process documents:

      • Mentor: Edgars Jānis Paulovićs.
      • Management process coordinator: Sarmīte Pilāte.
      • Project manager and chairman of the association’s board: Ieva Vītoliņa.
      • Consultant – Norsensus Mediaforum expert Vedat Sevincer

In strengthening of resources and financial capacity

In the period from 01.10.2022. to 28.02.2023. the following work has been carried out:

1) A resource acquisition/financial attraction strategy for 2023-2027 and a plan of action for 2023 have been developed;

2) Prepared visual identity materials of the association;

3) The society’s website aimc.lv was created in Latvian and English;

4) Implemented resource attraction activities.

 

In the period from 01.03.2023 until 30.09.2023. the following work has been carried out:

1) Action plan for 2023 implemented.

2) Prepared informative/advertising materials about AIMC and its services.

3) Various resource attraction actions have been done:

a. publicity activities carried out (wide target audience of potential supporters).

b. communication, networking activities (with a group of potential supporters).

c. implemented targeted individual meetings and communication with specific potential supporters.

d. created a description of AIMC services with the aim of obtaining independent financial resources.
