Learning objectives: give the youth worker an idea of the process of making an animated movie.
After watching the film, the youth worker will develop the following knowledge:
- they will have knowledge of the stages of the animation making process and how to organize it for young people;
- they will have an understanding of how to integrate young people’s essential knowledge from various fields, such as natural sciences, folklore, art, etc., in the creation of animation;
- they will understand that animation is a way for young people to express their thoughts and opinions about events or processes, or to create educational content in the digital environment;
- they will know what (free) digital technologies should be used for young people to create animated episodes;
- they will understand the diversity of digital content (video, audio, text) and how to integrate them.
After watching the film, the youth worker will develop the following skills:
- skills to organize and manage the process of making an animated film or to provide support to young people in any of the stages of the animation making process;
- skills to use the StopMotionStudio app to create animation.
After watching the film, the youth worker will develop the following competencies:
- encourage young people to choose to combine different types of digital content and better express facts or opinions about a process or event;
- to creatively support young people by exploring alternative solutions for creating digital content in the form of animations.
