Preparation of the research visit
The preparation of the research visit to Finland took place from the 14th to 15th of November, 2022.
More about preparing the research visit:
Latvian youth workers improve their knowledge in STEAM topics.
14 youth workers from Latvia went to Finland to, together with 14 Finnish specialists involved in youth work, supplement their knowledge in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) sectors and gain experience in how to use this knowledge for the social inclusion of young people.
During the research visit, a training material was prepared – a video film about STEAM elements in work with young people. Watch the videos about STEAM, LEGO robotics and animation here.
After the visit, workshops were held to share the newly acquired knowledge.
