Events organized to spread the results​

The following seminars to spread the results of the Erasmus+ Latvia project “STEAM for capacity building of youth workers” were held in Finland until the end of May 2023, and were organized by the youth workers involved in the project of Loimas folk school (LEKO projects) and the coordinator Ilze Liepina-Naula.
 
  • 11.- 16.02. The project participants informed their acquaintances and friends about the progress, content, activities and impressions of the mobility.
    • LEKO students did it in groups – Maiia PK2021B, Charity PK2021C, Jose and Hakan PK2022B and Yelyzaveta KOT2 and Veronika, Katarina KOT3
    • LEKO teaching staff Ilze, Heikki, Tuomas, Joni spread information at the weekly staff meeting on 14.2.
  • Ligija Legzdiņa – conducted social inclusion activities in Finnish language courses in the city and continued animation activities with her daughter and her friends.
  • Maia Aslanova 4.-5.3 with her children, she has 6 (4 of them are aged 13-20), made a few animated shortfilms.
  • On May 5, LEKO organized the International Day for Loima residents in Heimolin (132 spectators), where elements from the mobility project were used – both music (instrumental – Jose, vocal – project participants from Ukraine – Liza, Veronika), as well as video elements, which Hakan knew, administration – Ilze and Tuomas.
All these activities have contributed to the improvement of some STEAM scientific and creative skills, as well as significantly strengthened social inclusion. The Association “Development and Innovation Training Center” in collaboration with the Loima Folk School in Finland implements the Erasmus+ Latvia project “STEAM for capacity building of youth workers”.
The Association “Development and Innovation Training Center” in collaboration with the Loima Folk School LEKO projects Erasmus+ Latvia project “STEAM for capacity building of youth workers”, which took place in Finland, is coming to an end! After the study visit in Finland, which took place in February 2023, both Finnish and Latvian youth workers have actively shared their newly acquired knowledge.

Midsummer’s time has encouraged people to learn how to create an animation dedicated to the holiday! Ada Vītoliņa and Andris Sarksņas have conducted workshops in the festive mood of Līgo.
22. and 27.04.2023
LEGO robots were constructed and an animation made by young people was created when youth workers shared the knowledge they acquired during the study visit of the Erasmus+ project in Finland. Workshop leaders – Inguna Ojere, Sigita Upmale, Ēriks Zeps, Daiga Rokpelne, Ieva Vītoliņa, Dace Liepa, Ivars Utāns, Silva Utāne, Māra Liniņa.
 
The Association “Development and Innovation Training Center” in collaboration with the Loima Folk School in Finland implements the Erasmus+ Latvia project “STEAM for capacity building of youth workers”.

Nora Meire presented the results of the project to the teachers and youth workers of Ogre Secondary school No.1, Daiga Orbidāne shared her knowledge at the Salaspils library, Ilze Avotiņa used the acquired knowledge to teach young people about STEAM opportunities in free time classes.
